If your production isn’t quite ready to spend $6,000.00 for a new, base level mac pro, the 2013-19 “Space Can” is a serious and powerful option. Apple did recall some units that had issues with the D500 video cards, causing them to freeze or “beach-ball”. One more reason I always felt the D700 video cards were more than worth the price of admission. I’ve pushed these units hard and always been impressed with what they can handle. They don’t take up much real estate on crowded tech tables, you can mount them anywhere. Truly a worthy predecessor to the Mac 5.1
