Released in July of 2010, Sharp produced this unit for about 3 years. It was a handy little problem solver; at 3000 lumens, it was brighter than many units I would encounter in many small to mid-sized theatres. With a 0.71:1 throw ratio, these things covered a lot of surface area when space was tight. They were another popular choice with my customers, so I maintained a number of these units. I continue to offer them today as a low cost, legacy unit. If your stage is small and your budget is smaller, it might be just right for production.
